The Premier Gold features the new StarQuad construction that utilizes five cores instead of the traditional 3-conductor cables. These extra cores, along with gold-plated connectors, protect your signal even more from the annoying EMI (electromagnetic interference) that can all but ruin a performance. In addition, double-Reussen shielding ensures that RFI (radio frequency interference) stays out of the mix as well.
