A set of six HDHQ Denon-Marantz mic pres is remarkably clear, which can be difficult to find in a mixer capable of running from DC, and you can double up on the inputs when you run stereo line-level signals. The 3-band EQ is great for live sound applications, such as conferences and panel discussions; speaking of which, the DN-312X’s adjustable priority mode makes it easy to automatically duck other levels when the announcer or host starts to speak.
