Meinl Headliner series Cajon deliver the classic Cajon sound at an affordable price and can be played with flamenco or world music. They are also very useful during unplugged gigs for delivering the rhythmic foundation for a whole band when a full drum set cannot be used. The American white ash Cajon in special vintage finishes feature an internal snare system that gives the Cajon a crisp snare effect. A deep and boomy American white ash front plate provides the basis for rich sound development. This durable playing surface delivers a full bass spectrum, cutting snare slaps, and responds beautifully to soft finger rolls, giving you precise dynamic control. The top corners of the front plate are adjustable by tightening or loosening the screws – another feature from Meinl that allows you to completely customize your style. This will alter the distance between the front plate corner and Cajon body, resulting in a varied amount of “slap” sound.
