“Don Pablo” Kit Parrandero with Tambourine. A set of instruments consisting of a guiro, scrapper, tambourine, maracas, and claves used in Parrandas. Parranda is a musical form played in various Caribbean countries (Puerto Rico, Cuba, Trinidad and Venezuela). In Puerto Rico, parrandas are musical festivities in the Christmas season holidays. They are also known as “trullas navideas” and are associated with customs of the traditional Puerto Rican “Jbaro”.
