During his tenure with the Police, Andy Summers perfected a liquid, chorus-drenched, flange-soaked tone that pushed the boundaries of what an electric guitar could sound like in a rock trio setting. The Electro-Harmonix Andy Summers Walking on the Moon pays tribute to this elusive sound, enabling you to infuse your own playing with the slippery shimmer that fueled so many of the Police’s classic songs. First and foremost, the Walking on the Moon is an analog flanger pedal with Color, Range, and Rate knobs that unlock a wide breadth of modulation effects. Its unique Filter Matrix switch disengages the flanger circuit’s LFO for a fixed effect. You also get dedicated Dry and Flanged outputs. Finally, the EHX Andy Summers Walking on the Moon’s housing dons Special Artist Edition graphics, and it comes with a tribute poster designed by celebrated artist Laura Josephson.
