1st, 2nd and 4th strings are New Nylgut, 3rd is a RED string.
Made in Italy. New Nylgut is a formulation of polymerized plastic with additives patented by Aquila and has the closest sound to gut strings we have heard. Red string is new nylgut with copper powder added for extra tension without extra thickness.
Strings are about 31 inches long. Approximate gauges, 1st to 4th: 024 031 031 026. GCEA tuning.
