When we tested the PAF 36th Anniversary here at Music Bliss, we were stunned by how easily you can take this responsive pickup from clean to dirty with a subtle change in your pick attack. The PAF 36th Anniversary mimics the magnetic field of a 1959 Les Paul’s humbuckers, allowing your strings to vibrate longer, while yielding amazing, single-coil-like definition. A 42-gauge custom-coated wire puts this pickup’s frequency response right in the sweet spot. The DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary bridge pickup has all of the characteristics of the legendary humbuckers of yesteryear.
