Its resonant AEB body is crafted from a classic spruce top and sapele body combination, offering crisp articulation with a diverse range of tones. The addition of a maple neck and treated New Zealand pine fingerboard infuses the Ibanez AEB8E with a sweet, bright character, while its smooth feel delivers an incredibly comfortable performance. To make it stage ready, the AEB8E Acoustic Bass is equipped with Ibanez’s AEQ-2T preamp and under-saddle pickup, providing excellent projection without loosing any of its natural tones.
