Four independent entrances

The rear panel of the MMA130 offers two balanced mic/line inputs (XLR/TRS combination socket) and two unbalanced line inputs (6.35 mm jack socket) for the easy connection of a total of four signal sources, like a simple 4-channel PA -Mixers must be set with independent level controls.

Whether amplifying the vocal/instrumental performance of a single artist or a session with multiple musicians, the MMA130 is equipped for all scenarios and venues and guarantees consistently high audio quality.

Flexible AUX-Ins

The AUX inputs of the MMA130 accept a wide variety of connection types, such as RCA plugs (L, R), mini stereo plugs and 6.35 mm stereo jack plugs (L, R).You can easily connect an MP3 player for a jam session or use the MMA130 as a monitor box for a keyboard.The signal mix for the line outputs is tapped before the internal EQ so that it can control the sound of the speaker and the line output signal remains unchanged for recordings or larger external sound systems.

2-way power mode

The MMA130 runs on mains power or battery power and is ideal for outdoor performances or other off-power situations.Thanks to innovative energy-saving technology, the active monitor can be operated with either six or twelve C batteries, depending on the planned duration of use.Since the power mode can also be switched between MAX and ECO, continuous operation of a maximum of 24 hours is possible with twelve C batteries in ECO mode, which should also be enough for extremely long performances.

Energy in abundance

Using its rear DC9V output socket, the MMA130 can even supply additional power to a Korg instrument and operate a complete mobile mini band!Up to 9V DC voltage (max. 500 mA, polarity: center positive) flows from the MMA130 to the other instrument via the special DC-DC cable supplied, making the entire system immediately and independently usable in any environment – for example for an expressive performance on the Wavedrum Dynamic Percussion synthesizer or a virtuoso presentation of the microSTATION music workstation.Even outdoors, you can safely do without a generator and achieve a big effect with small equipment.

Despite its compact format, the MMA130 can produce high sound levels and extremely dynamic sounds.Its highly efficient 6.5-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter deliver an incredible sound pressure of 105 dB (max. output power), even when running on battery power.Very impressive for a compact portable active monitor.

3-band EQ/anti-feedback control

In addition to the Master Volume control, the side panel features a 3-band EQ with HIGH, MIDDLE and LOW bands to tailor the sound to the venue.The anti-feedback control can be used to suppress or eliminate acoustic feedback when the MMA130 is operated with microphones, pickup-equipped acoustic guitars or other amplified natural instruments.
