Stellar X2 Large Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser XLR Microphone

Most inexpensive condenser microphones have a noticeable strong and bright tone that makes them difficult to sit in a mix and can sound fatigued over time. The Stellar X2 is different in that we have carefully tuned its capsule and circuitry to produce a sound that is very smooth and easily sits in any mix without the harshness of inexpensive condenser mics. Furthermore, our custom made low noise transformerless JFET circuit uses high quality components such as German capacitors and high tolerance parts.

FEATURES

• Carefully tuned sound: balanced and neutral frequency response. Unlike most condenser mics, this mic doesn’t sound harsh and doesn’t stand out in your mix or sound fatiguing over time.
• High Quality Diaphragm – Our capsules are made from high quality brass and imported Japanese mylar. They are manufactured with the most precise machinery to achieve greater sensitivity, which makes them capable of reproducing subtle sounds. This makes it perfect for a wide variety of fonts.
• Low Noise Circuit – Our custom transformerless JFET circuit is made from German capacitors and components with tolerance as low as 1%. It features traces of gold for high conductivity, great distortion-free performance, and a noise floor of less than 13 dBA.
• HEAVY-DUTY IRON BODY – Our microphone body and frame are made of high-quality iron with a durable grill to protect the capsule and ensure each of our microphones will last a lifetime.
• Note: To connect to a computer, use a suitable USB audio interface that can supply 48V and an XLR to XLR cable.
