Key of C, with wound 4th (GCEA, 4th to 1st, bass to treble). Strings are plain and multi-strand New Nylgut overwound with silver plated copper. New Nylgut is a polymerized plastic with additives patented by Aquila. It has the closest sound to gut strings we have heard. Made in Italy.
