The LU version (new throwoff) replaces the old LW6514SL The Ludwig Supralite Snare Drums was designed with a mirrored, polished, 1 mm beaded steel shell for a bright, cutting attack, while providing a wide mid-range overtone. Standard hardware includes chrome plated brass tube lugs, 2.3 mm chrome plated triple flange hoops, and brass snare wires.
