With the BL8 Omni, meetings where one or more remote attendees struggle to hear the conversation happening in the room are a thing of the past! This version of the BL8 features an omnidirectional pickup pattern. An omnidirectional boundary microphone like this is dynamite for teleconferencing, courtrooms, and spaces where you need to cover a lot of ground with a single microphone. Itll capture everyone around the table with absolute ease. The BL8 Omni is excellent in the studio, too. Music Bliss recommends trying it out inside a kick drum or as an alternative room mic. Three switches can be found on the back to engage the highpass filter, turn on the pad, and imbue the signal with classic or modern character. Finally, the BL8 Omni is compatible with Kelly Shu Flatz shockmount systems, which enable you to suspend the microphone inside a kick drum for extra low-end oomph.
